Privacy Policy

Who we are

Our website address is: The business is locally owned and registered in the State of Washington, City of Seattle by a sole proprietor.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We make no attempts to collect personal data about you. However, there is software installed on this website that probably does. We make every attempt to limit the amount of data they store in the database under our control, but we don’t have access to their database or control over their data use policies. We’ve made our best attempt to work with businesses that have limited data retention and sharing policies, but we live in a time where corporate respect for our personal privacy is at an all-time low.

We can only do our best here.

Mailing List

If you sign up for our mailing list, we have whatever information you’ve given to us in order to receive email from us. That likely means we have your email address, possibly your name if you’ve already given it to someone else who uses MailChimp to manage their mailing list.

Goodness knows what MailChimp does with your information, but we just use it to send you email.

Embedded content from other websites

We do this sometimes, so this may matter to you:

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

There may be a web server statistics package installed on this website that we would occasionally glance at to give ourselves a boost in the ego.

Who we share your data with

What data you choose to share with us, we won’t share with anyone else. When you give us your email for the mailing list, that data is shared with Mailchimp. When using the store to purchase product, that data is shared with Woocommerce and Stripe for the storefront and to process your payments. Any data you share with us should be considered shared with them.

How long we retain your data

Any information you’ve chosen to give will be retained only as long as you choose for us to have it. You may delete your account you’ve made to purchase products and our data retention policy is to then purge the data as soon as possible.

When you receive an email from us, it will contain a link allowing you to unsubscribe. If you click that link, we will unsubscribe you and not retain your email address any longer.

We make no promises to retain your data for any length of time. We would be deeply sorry if we lost your personal data you’d choose to share with us, but we hope you’ll understand.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

Any information you give to us to sign up for our email list or the storefront probably gets datamined by MailChimp, Woocommerce, or Stripe, so that sucks. Whatever they expose to us, we promise never to share with anyone else.
